Tasty Thursday: Meltaway Cookies

Last night I decided to roll my sleeves up and spend some time baking one of my favorite desserts- Meltaway Cookies. They’re quick and easy to make for any occasion and are absolutely deeeelish! Enjoy!

What You’ll Need (Ingredients):
1 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
2 & 1/4 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Mix 1 cup butter, 1 tsp vanilla, and 1/2 cup confectioners sugar in a bowl and mix together.
Slowly mix in 2 & 1/4 cups flour and 1/4 tsp salt.
Roll the dough into little balls and place them on the cookie sheet (the batter should feel thin and grainy)
Place the cookie tray in the oven and bake for 7-8 minutes.
While the cookies bake, pour some confectionary sugar on a plate in preparation for post-oven action.
Let the cookies sit and cool for 2-3 minutes. Then, roll each cookie in the confectionary sugar, making sure to cover all sides. Voila! You’re all done. Enjoy your delicious treats and keep an eye out for future Tasty Thursday posts, where we’ll be sharing our favorite recipes!
