Fun Findings Friday #8

Panem ID Cards

Attention fans of The Hunger Games: Head on over to the Capitol’s official website and get your official Panem ID personalized with your info. Not only will you be assigned a Panem Official Citizen ID number, you’ll also be assigned to a district and given an occupation. Once you’re assigned, you’re invited to “Like” your assigned district’s official Facebook page and are able to order a free copy of your ID card (you only pay $1.25 shipping) from Cafepress. We ordered ours last week to ensure that they arrive with plenty of time to spare before the movie hits theaters later this month.

Sophia Grace and Rosie’s Princess Swagger

We are huge, and I mean HUGE fans of the wildly popular children Sophia Grace and Rosie that appear often on The Ellen DeGeneres Show! After spotting the two children rapping Nicki Minaj’s “Super Bass” on YouTube, Ellen flew the two girls (eight and five years old) from London to be on her show. The hilarious little girls were a hit and have been back on her show numerous times since and they never fail to bring a smile to our face. She has them interview celebrities on red carpets and sends them shopping and to Disney, and of course, always singing/rapping a song. This past week when Sophia Grace and Rosie were on, they debuted their first original song called “Princess Swagger” which is inspired by their first trip to Disneyland. We’re dying from the cuteness and wanted you all to enjoy as well, yo! And we highly recommend you check out all of their videos on Ellen on YouTube to bring a little laughter in your day!

Miranda Lambert Wine

We love Miranda Lambert. We love her music, her attitude and everything she stands for! We recently discovered that Miranda has her own line of wine which you are able to purchase straight from her website. The cool part about this is that it was created by Miranda’s parents Rick and Beverly Lambert in honor of their daughter. They introduced Red 55 Winery, a private wine label, in late 2007 and now have seven different wines each named from one of her songs or albums. Prices are pretty decent varying from $16.00 to $20.00. You better believe we have already ordered our first one (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) and we’ll continue to collect the rest until we reach all seven! You can order your bottle of Miranda Lambert wine here.
