NOM is all I have to say about this week’s Tasty Thursday recipe. I made these cookies over the holidays and was happy to hear my coworkers rave about them quite a bit. Although it’s not the first time these tasty treats have ever been made, they veer off the path of traditional chocolate chip or sugar cookies that are made/eaten the most. Enjoy baking these delish Snickerdoodle cookies!
What You’ll Need (Ingredients)
1 cup butter
1 & 1/2 cups sugar
2 & 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp cream of tartar
3 tbs sugar
3 tsp cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix 1 cup butter, 2 eggs and 1 & 1/2 cups sugar together in a bowl.
Stir in 2 & 3/4 cups flour, 1 tsp baking soda and 2 tsp cream of tartar.
Place dough in fridge for 15 minutes to chill.
While the dough chills, mix in a small, separate bowl, 3 tbs sugar and 3 tsp cinnamon.
Take dough out of fridge and roll into small balls.
Gently roll the balls of dough into the cinnamon/sugar mixture.
Place on cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
Take out of oven and let cool.
