Fun Findings Friday #24

Goodreads
We love to read. But sometimes finding the next book can be difficult, especially since we get hooked on certain authors – and then finish reading their collection of works. If you’re in the same boat, then you’ll love this app/site as much as we do! Goodreads allows you to rate and/or review books you’ve read, create a to-read list, find books by type, author, etc. and best of all, gives you recommendations on what to read next based on your reading history and preferences. You can also find friends from your address book or Facebook to see what they’re reading and recommend as well. Your free account works across platforms, syncing up both via web and your smartphone.

Craftsy
You know that artsy thing you’ve been dying to figure out how to make? Maybe you saw it on Pinterest or Etsy? This up and coming site, Craftsy, offers online classes to help you boost your creativity. From cake decorating to jewelry making and quilting, there’s help for just about anything you’d like to try out. Some classes on the site are free, however, the majority of them will cost you. For class options and pricing, visit the Craftsy website.

YouTube Guru’s Defining Eyes Palette
YouTube makeup guru Tiffany D is known for her classy hair and makeup tutorials on the video website. Now, she has joined with Sigma Beauy to design her own makeup palette. Her first product (hopefully of many) is called “Defining Eyes Palette”. This kit contains a selection of neutral eye shadows and liners. The kit also comes with brushes to use to get your smokey eye just right! The kit is available at sigmabeauty.com and retails for $55.00. We are huge fans of her and her tutorials and hope she has more products in the works! You can watch her videos at MakeupByTiffanyD on YouTube.
