Super Bowl Party Planning 101

It’s hard to believe it’s already time for the Super Bowl again – feels like last year’s was just yesterday! Whether you’re in it for the actual game, the friends/family, or the food, it’s always a fun day. If you’re looking to spice things up at your Super Bowl party this year, you’ve come to the right place. Read on to find out how you can make this year’s Super Bowl party the most memorable yet.

Take a trip to the local dollar store and pick up
some cheap paper goods, and grab some wrapping paper/tablecloths/ribbons
matching the colors of the team you’re rooting for to show your team spirit!
Stock up in bulk to get the best/lowest prices for your party. Start by checking the weekly ads to see what beer and
soda are on sale and buy them—even if it’s generic brand (it all tastes pretty much the
same). If you’re expecting a lot of guests keep it simple (and stress-free) by
picking up some appetizers from the frozen food section, leaving some snacks
around the living room and kitchen for “drive-by snacking,” and decorating slice-and-bake cookies as footballs or with
team colors.
Dress Code
Invite your party guests to get creative by setting a dress code for a Super Bowl
“crazy fan” contest. Instead of guests showing up in a traditional football
jersey, watch everyone go all out to support their team with hats, face/body paint, crazy hairdos, etc. Your party will have plenty of “Kodak Moments” you’ll love
to look back on.
Game Bets/Pools
Rather than following the cliché
“who’s going to win the game” and “what will the final score be”  as a group, bet against someone of the opposite sex on things like: how long will it take for the artist to sing the national anthem, how many viewers will there be this year, which company/brand will have the best commercial, etc.
At the end of the game (or throughout), pick out your favorite Super Bowl commercial that companies are paying millions for.
Break up into groups or fly solo in reenacting the favorite commercials to see who does
the best and worst impressions and to get a few good laughs in.
