Best Dressed List: The Oscars

The day we have been waiting all season (who am I kidding… All YEAR) for has finally come, and sadly gone. But, we’re left with the remnants of designer gowns and golden statues. Since the nominees were announced, I have been anxiously awaiting the red carpet. Dying to know who will wear what and which gowns will have me swooning all night and dreaming of heavenly couture. With that said, here are my best dressed winners from Hollywood’s biggest night.

Jennifer Lawrence

The Best Actress winner looked everything the Oscar winner last night in a
gorgeous pale pink Dior Haute Couture gown with beautiful embroidery down the
dress. She swept her hair back to focus on the huge gown, and added minimal
jewelry for elegance. My favorite accessory, though, was the diamond encrusted
necklace that draped down her back and had me pining for my own “down the back
necklace” to wear.

Jessica Chastain

The nominee for Zero Dark Thirty
donned a gold embellished custom-made Georgio Armani gown. The color looking
stunning on the star, who also added soft curls and a red lip to the ensemble.
Oh, not to mention, the dreamy Harry Winston diamonds she borrowed for the

Amy Adams

A night fit for Cinderella. Amy Adams looked all the fairytale princess in a
gorgeous light gray Oscar de la Renta gown with a beaded bodice and large tulle
skirt. She donned a delicate updo and soft jewelry to get the feminine look.

Amanda Seyfried

The star looked like a true fashionista last night wearing a gorgeous pale
Alexander McQueen gown equipped with fabric around the neck as a chocker and glittery
embellishments down the gown.

Charlize Theron

Charlize is a true movie star! The actress looked fabulous and statuesque in
a white Dior Haute Couture gown. Sporting her new cropped do and Harry Winston jewels, we all said “only Charlize can look that great”… And it’s so true!

Halle Berry

Halle Berry can do no wrong and looks great in practically anything. Last night she knocked it out of the park in a killer custom-made Versace
gown. The futuristic cut and metallic stripes looked stunning. If you got it,
flaunt it!

Sandra Bullock

Sandra was wearing my favorite couture designer last night, Elie Saab, and
looked absolutely beautiful in it. The sheer black cap-sleeve gown fit her
perfectly and had much intricate detail down the dress.

Reese Witherspoon

The former Oscar winner selected a two-toned
Louis Vuitton gown to wear while introducing three of the Best Picture
nominated films last night. Though I adore the gown, my obsession with Reese
last night went straight to her hair. Her old Hollywood glamour look was
beautifully crafted with her side-parted soft waves that delicately fell down
her face. Gorge!
