Tasty Thursday: Oreo Pie

Happy Pi day, y’all! Now… This annual holiday has to do with
the math equation 3.14, but we’re taking it as an excuse to cheat our health
kick and devour in some delicious dessert. And why not have fun with it? Give
an excuse to have a girl’s night and invite your best friends over for some pie
baking and eating!  In saying that, here is my favorite pie recipe I recommend trying out tonight! Enjoy!

Oreo Pie

What You Need:

36       OREO Cookies, divided
1/4      cup  butter or margarine, melted

1
package (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

1/3
cup  sugar

2
cups  thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
What To Do:

CRUSH 24 cookies to form fine crumbs; mix with butter until blended. Press onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate. Refrigerate while preparing filling.
CHOP 8 of the remaining cookies. Beat cream cheese and sugar in medium bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Add chopped cookies and COOL WHIP; stir gently until blended. Spoon into crust.
REFRIGERATE 2 hours or until firm. Halve remaining 4 cookies; insert, cut-edges down, into top of pie.
