Favorite Beauty Products: August 2013

Another month has come and gone, and more beauty products were found and loved. Since this is the last month of Summer, I really lived it up with bright colors and beach waves. With that said, here are a list of my favorite beauty products that I discovered this month. Enjoy!

Benefit Watt’s Up Highlighter

As a huge Benefit fan, I had been wanting to try this product for a long time. I finally bought myself one this month and now I don’t know how I’ve gone this long without it. It has truly transformed my look and beauty routine. I even use this on my makeup-free days. It is truly wonderful! You can use it all over your face but I mainly use it under my eyes and in my creases to make my eyes pop with freshness. I also it on my cheeks after blush to contour.

GlamGlow Bright Mud Eye Treatment

We are all constantly looking for the best eye treatment for those irritating bags and dark circles, right? Well, on my recent Sephora trip, I got a sample of this new treatment, called “Bright Mud” from GlamGlow. I tried it the first night and now I’m hooked! This is a paraben and sulfate-free product, so it’s safe and healthy for your delicate skin. This product has really decreased my puffiness and those fine lines that are starting to form around my temple.

L’Oreal Voluminous Extra Volume Collagen

I have been a fan of the L’Oreal Voluminous mascara for years. It is my go-to drugstore mascara that is very comparable to high-end mascaras. I recently switched from the original version to the extra-volume collagen version and love it! It gives me more definition with a fuller and longer look.

NARS Eyeliner Stylo

I’ve always been a strong supporter of the NARS brand and cosmetics. I was recently looking for a good liquid liner in a bold shade to make my eyes pop. I stumbled across this gem in Sephora and thought I’d try… You can’t go wrong with NARS, right? RIGHT! This particular eyeliner has 4 shades to choose from. I chose “Atlantic” which is a navy blue, and it gives me just enough color without over-doing it.

Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush

Chanel is one of the top high-end cosmetic brands around. Almost everything I’ve tried of theirs, I’ve loved. I recently gave in and purchased their new blush line, and it is gorgeous! I have the “In Love” color, which gives a subtle pink hue to your cheeks to match a bronzer for that perfect summer glow! I wish it was a little bigger so it would last longer, but it’s definitely worth the extra few bucks!
