Fabletics: February 2014 Review

Several of my New Years Resolutions were fitness related, and thus far, I’ve been going strong with my goals. But with that, I’ve needed some new clothes for working out, and decided to try out the Fabletics subscription (which also happens to be the first clothing subscription I’ve tried).

Fabletics was created by Kate Hudson (yes, the Kate Hudson) and JustFab, to provide a multi-functional clothing solution for active women. You can purchase items individually, or invest in a workout outfit bundle consisting of 2-3 items (e.g. pants, shorts, tees, tanks, sports bras) for $49.95/month (I snagged a 50% off coupon as a new member and only paid $25 for my first month). On the 1st of each month, a new selection of outfits becomes available for you to choose from. Keep in mind that this subscription does auto-renew, so if you’re not interested in purchasing for the month, make sure you opt-out by the 10th of the month. If you’re interested, you can also purchase items separately.

For February, I chose the J├ęte collection, which included a sports bra, a t-shirt, and shorts. Although we’ve had some chilly days in Florida the past couple weeks, it’s warmed up quite a bit! Plus, I figured I’ll get more use out of this combo than pants/long sleeves.

Vassa Sports Bra
The Vassa Sports Bra ($20) was offered in multiple pastel colors (as well as black). I decided to switch things up and go with the coral color since my first pick (black) was sold out by the time I decided to subscribe. Since my workouts have been pretty basic in the past (i.e. walking my dog), I haven’t really had much need for sports bras, but since I decided to kick it into gear this year, they’re much needed!

Samar Top
The Samar Top ($29.95) is my new favorite workout shirt! I’ve always had trouble finding the perfect one – they’re always either too tight or too baggy but so far, this one seems just right! It also matches perfectly with my new workout shorts (below), which is exciting considering most of the time I just pick random shorts and tees.

Petra Short
I didn’t fully read the description on the Petra Short ($29.95), just really went off how the shorts looked in the picture. Luckily, I love them! They’re made of stretchy materials similar to yoga pants, and I love the gray folder over part. They’re even great for days that you don’t feel your thinnest. I’d definitely invest in another pair!

I’m really happy with my Fabletics subscription this month! I’m always skeptical to order clothes online, especially from companies that I’ve never purchased clothes from. All 3 of the items I selected were true to size and fit perfectly, which is very rare these days. I definitely want to order more workout clothes – can’t wait to see what other outfit combos are offered!

Do you subscribe to Fabletics? Which outfit did you select?
