PopSugar Must Have: March 2014 Review

As usual, the PopSugar Must Have box was the first of my subscriptions to arrive for the month, and it’s always the one I’m most excited for! This monthly subscription box sends top picks from all of the PopSugar editors across the board – Fitness, Beauty, Home, and Fashion for $39.95 per month.

Dogeared Lucky Horseshoe
I was so excited to find the Dogeared Lucky Horseshoe necklace ($26) in my box! With this necklace, you’re supposed to make a wish prior to putting the necklace on and after a while of wearing it, the necklace will wear off (it’s on a silk thread) and your wish will come true. Love it! Dogeared is also one of my favorite jewelry companies so I’m always happy to add their pieces to my collection! PopSugar also included a one-time use 20% off coupon for their site. I may or may not have already used it to buy myself the Dogeared earrings I’ve been eyeing up :)

Brokedown Clothing Scarf
Scarfs are all the rage in subscription boxes lately, so I wasn’t surprised to find the Brokedown Clothing scarf ($72) inside. Although it’s another pretty one, I’m not a scarf person, so I’ll end up swapping or gifting this item.

Jurlique Herbal Recovery Advanced Serum
I hadn’t heard of the Jurlique brand until receiving their Herbal Recovery Advanced Serum ($30) in my PS Must Have Box, but it seems like a good one! This serum is supposed to help reduce the appearance of fine lines, restore radiance, increase hydration and keep the skin younger looking. This isn’t the type of product I’d actively go looking for now, in my early 20s, but am starting to incorporate it into my daily face routine since I’m sure I’ll be kicking myself if I don’t in a few years!

Snapea Crisps
Although the Snapea Crisps ($3) seem super healthy, I couldn’t bring myself to give them a try, as peas are my least favorite veggie. I passed these on to my mom to try and she loves them!

Baublebar Elephant Ring Tree
The Baublebar Elephant Ring Tree ($12) might be my favorite item in the box. Although I don’t wear multiple rings to place on this holder, I love the idea of it for just a decoration on my dresser. That said, maybe this holder will give me reason to start wearing more rings. Hmm..

Mini Stability Exercise Ball
I haven’t tried the Mini Stability Exercise Ball ($10) out just yet, as you can tell from my picture, but I am curious about it. My exercise(s) of choice lately have been good ol’ fashioned walking and spin, so I haven’t had much of a need for this type of ball. I’m definitely going to give it a try soon though!

Nature’s Bakery Wheat Fig Bar
My favorite food item in this month’s box was Nature’s Bakery Wheat Fig Bar ($1) – I wish I received two of these instead of the peas! Fig Newtons are one of my favorite snacks and these are pretty similar. I think I’ll end up buying more of them eventually to stock my desk up with!

March’s PopSugar Must Have box retailed out to about $154 – amazing deal considering I spent less than $40 on the box. I’d definitely consider this one a hit for me! Unfortunately, this box marked the end of the 3-month subscription I had originally signed up (and paid in full for). I was planning to try out some other boxes in place of this one, but I think I’m going to renew my subscription – I can’t resist!

If you’re interested in subscribing, be sure to use the coupon code “REFER5” at checkout for $5 off your first box!
