T-Pain Fancy Box: May 2014 Review

I’m a little late getting this one up, but wanted to share the contents of T-Pain’s very first Fancy Box, which arrived a couple weeks ago! It’s been awhile since I’ve ordered a Fancy Box since they’re a little pricier than most monthly subs, but I couldn’t resist when I saw that T-Pain was a new curator.

Fancy has quite a few celeb-curated boxes (Ashton Kutcher, Pink, Tyler Florence, Snoop Dogg, Kelly Rowland – to name a few), each $46.95 ($39 + shipping). I think it’s so cool to see what items celebs choose for their boxes, it helps you understand their personality a little better and if you relate to one, you’re likely to love their picks too!

Pixel Sunglasses
Although these aren’t sunglasses I’d rock on a daily basis, they scream T-Pain to me. The bright blue Pixel Sunglasses ($9) look like something that would be worn to EDC, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza or some other outdoor music festival. Since none of those aren’t on my list of trips anytime soon, I think I’ll give these to my younger sisters to rock on the beach.

Bass Guitar Bracelet
I think the Bass Guitar Bracelet ($15) is so cool! Made of actual bass guitar strings, it’s an awesome accessory for any music lover. I actually received one of these in a Pink Fancy Box last year and wear it all the time!

Camera Lens Mug
I’ve had my eye on this Camera Lens Mug ($15) for quite some time now. In fact, it was one of the first things I “fancy’d” (liked) upon signing up for Fancy. Such a cool concept to be drinking your coffee out of a “camera lens” – love it!

Get the Hint Notes
Office supplies have always been a weakness for me, and I’m absolutely loving T-Pain’s choice of Get the Hint Notes ($10). Although these definitely aren’t something appropriate for the office, I think these would be awesome to give as a gag gift to someone or for use in the home office. Perfect to note the things you don’t (or do) want to do!

Michael Jordan Mac Decal
Mac decals are so fun and I’ve seen some pretty great ones browsing around Etsy. The Michael Jordan Mac Decal ($15) is another great one, included in this month’s box. I’m not a huge basketball fan and already have a decal for my Mac (an awesome Walking Dead one thanks to my best friend Kayla), so this one isn’t for me. Will definitely be something to gift though – very unique!

How to Traumatize Your Children Book
I always get a kick out of the humor books, and there’s no exception to the How to Traumatize Your Children book ($12). I’m only a dog mom, but can’t stop laughing at some of the craziness in this book. This is definitely one any adult can appreciate!

May’s T-Pain Fancy Box retailed out to about $76, well over the amount I paid for the box. Although I won’t keep everything for myself, I think most of the items will go to good use!

What did you think of May’s T-Pain’s Fancy Box?

I thought the box could of been better.

I like everything except for the sunglasses, but the only think I would really WANT is the bracelet, I think I would be upset if I paid full price for the box. These fancy boxes seem so cool, but they are definitely out of my price range. Some of them are AMAZING others just seem okay…like this one. I am glad you are happy with it!
