PopSugar Must Have: June 2014 Review

PopSugar Must Have is one of my favorite monthly subscription boxes, so I was very anxious for June’s box to arrive. I wasn’t crazy about last month’s box so I was pretty sure this one was going to be stellar (normally if there’s a bad month they make up for it the next). And sure enough, it was!

Filled with the top picks from PopSugar editors, the PopSugar Must Have box ($39.95) features  products in home, beauty, fashion, fitness, and lifestyle – ensuring that there’s something for everyone! To read my past PS Must Have reviews, click here.

The One & Only Book
I’m a HUGE fan of Emily Giffin and have been eyeing up her new book, The One & Only ($20)since it was first announced and was very excited to find it at the top of my box upon opening. Perfect for summer reading – can’t wait to start it!

Lollies Hair Ties
Us girls can never have enough hair ties! Seriously, I can’t even imagine how many I’ve gone through in my lifetime thus far. I’d never heard of Lollies Hair Ties ($8) prior to receiving them in my box but I couldn’t wait to give them a try! Unfortunately, my hair’s a little too thick for these. I hope they’ll make some stretchier bands in the future!

You Smell Wet Wipes
I was pretty confused about what the You Smell Wet Wipes ($5) were when I saw them. They seemed like they could pass as facial cleansing wipes, antibacterial wipes, perfume wipes, etc. I actually think it could work as any of them but am going to go with wipes at the beach when you’re all sandy. It is summer, after all!

One Potato Two Potato Hawaiian BBQ Chips
One Potato Two Potato Chips ($1.50) have the best branding I’ve ever seen on a chip bag – it’s adorable! Being kettle chips, they’re a little better for you than regular ones which makes me feel less guilty about eating them. Such a great snack for summer adventures!

Turkish T Towel
PopSugar included a lightweight towel in their Resort Box a couple months ago (which I love), which  was a huge hit (probably why they also decided to feature another one) – the Turkish T Towel ($32) in this month’s box. Although this one is great too (very happy with the color), I’m not sure I need two. Might save this one to gift!

Sacha Juan Body Lotion
I’m not completely sold on the Sacha Juan Body Lotion ($24) since I’m more of a eucalyptus mint or fruity smell fan for lotions, but once the lotion soaks into your skin, it’s kind of amazing. Love the extra soft feel it gives me!

PopSugar also included a $15 voucher to Native Union, a company that makes tech accessories, which is right up my alley! I wish it covered more of a product or a product entirely, since the cheapest item was about $50 on the site. Oh well!

June’s PopSugar Must Have retailed out to about $91 (not including the Native Union voucher). Although the items aren’t as high quality as previous months, I thought PopSugar did a great job curating this month’s box and I definitely got my moneys worth!

What did you think of this month’s box? What would you like to see in July’s?
