My app posts typically include my top 3 each month, but there’s one app I’ve been using for the past couple months that I love so much, I’m featuring it today as a standalone as my app of the month. I’m a huge fan of magazines, but not so much the stack of them that pile up when life gets super busy or having to pay retail price for the ones I’m not subscribed to.
Cue Next Issue, the “Netflix for magazines,” allowing you complete access to current and past issues of the 90+ magazines in their database, ranging from Cosmo, Real Simple, and US Weekly to National Geographic, Forbes, and Rolling Stone (to name a few).
To save you from sifting through every single publication on the list each time you open the app, there’s a “faves” section, where you can keep all of your top picks in one easy to access location. You can also set it up to automatically download a new issue of your favorite magazines as soon as they become available, when you’re connected to Wi-Fi (or cellular data, if you select that option).
This app is so great when using at home, and especially when on-the-go like so many of us are. Downloading new issues before hopping on flights is the best too, and keeps your bag a little more lightweight! I’ve learned that it also helps majorly with decluttering! You can also hold your device (compatible with Apple and Windows) upright or stand it up in its case – either way, the content forms on your screen in your preferred method.
So what’s the catch? The app will cost you $10/month for a basic account (includes monthly publications) and $15/month for a premium account (includes weekly and monthly publications), BUT one account allows complete access on five devices. So if you have friends or family members that want to go in with you on it, it’s a no brainer!
If you’re not sure if the investment’s for you just yet, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial here and/or enter to win my giveaway below for your chance to win a 3-month subscription to the app, for unlimited access to your favorite magazines!
