Pet Dental Month with

I’m so excited to announce that I/Sheba am joining‘s blogger program, and will be sharing dog product reviews (and occasional giveaways) each month! With 300+ pet brands, there’s a huge selection of products and Sheba is ready and willing to try them all!

February is Pet Dental Month, so it’s a great time for Sheba and I to hop aboard the blogger team! At Sheba’s last vet appointment, she had a little tartar buildup on her teeth. It wasn’t a huge concern at the time, but still, something to keep an eye on. So any chance I have to give her dental treats, I take ’em. Just like humans, dental issues are/can cause serious problems for dogs!

We opted for Blue Bones Natural Dental Chews by Blue Buffalo, a brand Sheba is always thrilled with, and also one of the top selling dental treats on! As you can see from the picture above, Sheba was pretty excited to get to her paws on the bag of treats!

This particular bag (“regular” size) of USA-made treats is recommended for medium dogs (25-50 pounds) and is made of ingredients to help joint, heart, digestive, and immune system health, as well as keep teeth clean and breath fresh. All key things I look for when determining what to feed my pup and keep her healthy.

I like that these dental chews aren’t huge or super small bones. They’re the perfect size! As soon as I unsealed the bag and handed Sheba one of the dental bones, Sheba snatched it right up and trotted over to her “lookout” corner. And when she brings something over there, she means serious business. She gobbled it right up and loved it!

What do you to to keep your dog’s dental health in good shape?

My cats often have tartar. They get their teeth cleaned under anesthesia. I'm off to see if there's something like Blue Bones for cats.

Hey Connie! At we sell feline greenies which help tremendously. My two cats fight for it all the time! Hope that helps. (=
