Spring Workout Playlist

My one-year gym/studio membership for spin ends at the end of this week, and I won’t be renewing. Mainly due to wanting to save a bit of money since studio memberships are pretty pricey and I wasn’t quite getting the true value of what I paid for, only making it in about twice a week.

I hope to still pop in every once in a while because I really love spin! Maybe I’ll even give a few other classes a try, and/or use ClassPass. But for now, I plan on sticking with some extra long walks with my pup Sheba, and trying some new exercise routines at home. 

To inspire myself to get moving, I pulled together a list of some of my favorite workout tracks for spring. Hopefully they’ll inspire you too!

How do you get your exercise in? What tunes motivate you?

  • I like to exercise with my Leslie Sansone indoor walking DVDs. I love the variations she puts into each workout to keep them fresh.

  • My tunes are always pretty heavy when I excercise – a lot of Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Avenged Sevenfold…it helps me to hear a little aggression when I'm trying to work it out!

  • That playlist is right up my alley! No diggity? Amazing. Have you ever considered an at home bike trainer? Not sure if you have a roadbike already but a trainer is like $300 for a really good one and I find I use mine way more. I just sit in front of netflix and watch my favourite shows while I pedal away.

  • I looked into it briefly a while back. I feel like it'd be worth the investment! There have been so many times where I'm just sitting on the couch watching Netflix but you're right – it seems like the perfect time to pedal (and not feel as guilty about binge watching)! Is there a specific one you recommend?
