Dear Stress, Let’s Take a Break

The past month has been crazier than usual with lots of travel, work, blogging, and all other misc. life things (e.g. errands, plans with friends/fam). At the end of every day, it seems my list of things to do has doubled, and I’m trying to figure out how to balance and prioritize things I need to do, while ensuring I’m getting enough sleep. I know you can all relate.

It’s so easy to get wrapped up in the millions of things that must get done, so it’s super important to remind yourself to take a step back and just take a break in the middle of your multi-tasking.

Cue my discovery of Take a Break Box, who kindly sent a package for me to review. One of the newer subscription boxes on the market, this box is marketed to small to medium-sized businesses, but I think it works in homes too (perfect for on-the-go and work snack drawers)!

I couldn’t believe how many snacks were packed into the box (32, to be exact). It was kind of like a vending machine was emptied out and packaged up – so many options! The inspirational words printed on the side of the box to go along with the theme were great. All encouraging and reminding you to take a break and reset before getting back to the task at hand.

Here’s a better look at the snacks I received in my box. While I’m sure your eyes are drawn first to the recognizable (maybe not as great FOR you but great for the taste buds) brands, I’d say it was split down the middle in terms of “junk food” snacks AND healthy snacks, which is the biggest selling point to me. Sometimes you’re trying to be healthy, and other times, well you just need a good-for-the-taste-buds treat!

The box costs $48-50, depending on your subscription plan, making the cost of each snack under $2, which isn’t bad at all, considering organic snacks are included, and the huge variety of brands included!
