It’s been a while since I’ve received a Vox Box from Influenster, so I was excited when their Wellness Box landed in my mailbox! While I know other people received their boxes before I did, I surprised myself in not peeking ahead to see what was coming. It was a fun surprise!
Olay Active Botanicals Refreshing Gel Cleanser
I’ve used several Olay products in the past, but this is one I haven’t heard of. I was a bit skeptical when I saw that it contains snow mushroom extracts (weird), but when I saw that they came from the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew in London, all my weird feelings were shaken. This facial cleanser ($6) is my new favorite thing (it may or may not also be influenced by the fact that it’s London)!
Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer
When I read the instructions on the back of this bottle, I was a little unsure about this one, which says to apply after you shower, but before drying off. When I first put it on, I wasn’t a fan, but after drying off, I felt how smooth my arms and legs were from this moisturizer ($8), and loved it! Since you’re only supposed to use small amounts of it, I think this bottle will last a while too!
Attitude Hair Care
While I love that this hair care line boasts no toxins or other harmful ingredients, this shampoo ($10) doesn’t have much of a smell to it, which was kind of a bummer, since obviously, you want your shampoo to smell good! It does leave your hair super soft and silky though! This brand also has scented dish soap available. The sample I received was small, but I liked what I was able to try!
Colgate Enamel Health Mouthwash
I saw a presentation by a member of the Colgate research team at BlogHer last month and was amazed (and admittedly, a bit disgusted) by some of the research and photos they shared of mouth bacteria. Ever since seeing the visual, I’m all about oral hygiene, so this mouthwash ($3) is great!
The box also included a sample of Urgent Rx Ache and Pain Relief To-Go and an invitation to download and join the Yaye: Group Fitness Motivation + Connection app. I haven’t tried either yet, but the app seems like a neat tool for encouraging close friends and family, and getting encouragement to keep up with workouts. Something that definitely helps you kick it into gear!
Have you tried any new health + wellness products lately? What are some of your favorites?
