Some Finals Week Humor

While many students are gearing up for midterms this time of year, I’m actually preparing for finals! Yep, it’s finals week. The grad school calendar doesn’t follow the typical college semester. Several of the courses are designed to be fast-track (8 weeks), allowing you to complete them in a shorter time. While I still have another month left for one class, I can’t believe I’m already wrapping the other two up and will be done in less than a week! I’m very much looking forward to having a bit of free time back, because working full-time, taking 3 gradute-level classes, blogging, and trying to still have a life, has been quite the adventure these past couple months!

I’m feeling pretty ok about final #1 tonight, but what’s looming over me is the last homework assignment, theĀ final AND a huge project on multiple regression for stats. UGHHHHHH. Less than a week, less than week. I have to keep reminding myself! And also, I need to get moving on some of this stuff. But it wouldn’t be finals week without some good ol’ procrastination and humor to get through.

I’ve been entertaining myself with some great finals week memes/GIFs around the web the past few days. Because entertainment > studying! Am I right? Whether you’re in school or not, I hope you enjoy them as well!

Right! That was literally my face when I took my first test this semester (it’s been years since I’ve had to take one)!

Oh man I laughed out loud at a few of these. The Ron and Good Burger ones though! I remember that feeling! “Wait, when did we learn this?” Good luck on your finals dear!

Thanks, girl! The “fun” stages of midterms/finals time. Eek!

haha I love the good burger one! I don’t understand how you and others keep your life together with all those committments. I would literally never have a social life. I’m 100% doing grad school full-time. I want to get it out of the way, and I work better when I’m focused on one thing. Thank god for savings accounts….. :(

Me too! I feel like I need to rewatch that movie now lol. It’s definitely tough – esp weeks like this when there’s SO much to study and do to wrap up the course. It’ll be a great feeling when it’s over with! I’m curious what the percentage is of full-time/part-time. I think it depends what you’re going for too! It is very pricey!!

Good luck with your finals!!! You’re going to do great on them! I need to go to grad school but I need to figure out what I want to go for. Love the good burger one!!

Thanks, Emi! This was the one part of going back I was dreading, but in a few short days it’ll be over with. So happy to have these funny memes when I need a break!

Hahahhaa the “I know some of these words” meme cracks me up. Lord, I remember those days. The horror stays with me.

    • October 20, 2015 / 11:04 PM

If you read it in Kel’s voice it’s even better! I need to re-watch Goodburger again soon lol. And yes! So much horror!

Haha, I always spend time on Netflix too instead of studying for exams! I bet I could have finished 3 degrees in all the time I wasted on Netflix :D Good luck with your exams though!
