Christmas Gift Guide: 5 Picks for Dogs

You all know my dog Sheba is one spoiled pup, so of course, I couldn’t leave the gift guide for dogs out! Here’s a peek at some of the items she’ll likely be getting and some help for you if you’re trying to figure out what to get the dog(s) in your life this year!

gift guide for dogs

KONG Medium Cozie Dog Squeaky Toy

This adorable squeaky toy ($7.84) is one of the top-selling dog products on Amazon. With a soft exterior and squeakers on the inside, this one is definitely one Sheba will be hoping for this Christmas!

Blue Buffalo Santa Snacks

Just like us humans are indulging in special Christmas goodies, your pup deserves some festive treats! Santa Snacks ($3.50) are some of Sheba’s favorite treats, and they’re super healthy, made with whole grains, fruits, veggies, and vitamins and minerals!

Keepsake Deluxe Pawprint Kit

While it’s not a treat or a toy, this pawprint kit ($11.25) is a wonderful addition to your Christmas decor! It reminds me of the type of thing a kid would bring home from school to hang up at home. For people with furchildren, this seems like a fun equivalent!

Snowball Toy

What’s the most fun thing to play with this time of year? A snowball! While we’re far from getting any snow in Florida (and several other places this year from what I’ve been hearing), this snowball ($10.95) is a great way to fake some “snow” play with your pup!

Edible Card for Dogs

Don’t forget to send your Christmas cards to the dogs in your life! This edible card ($5.50) is a simple, but cute way to send Christmas wishes and a treat, all in one!

Are you a dog parent? What’s on your pup’s list this year?

My puppies love the Kong squeaky toys! I’ve never seen the edible Christmas card before. That’s adorable!

Oh my goodness, I love the pawprint kit!!!! I think I need to get that. I posted a gift guide for dogs today too :) My dog LOVES these things called Himalayan Chews…it’s kind of like a rawhide or bully stick, but it’s made out of yak milk (weird), and doesn’t upset her sensitive tummy.

    • December 19, 2015 / 10:10 PM

Ooh I’ll have to check that out for Sheba! Her tummy can be sensitive sometimes too. I hope you have fun with the pawprint kit, it’s so fun!

Great! We did a tin one last year and I’ve actually kept it out year-round! It’s so cute!

What cute ideas! My boss is a big dog lover and I have to get her something, so I definitely am going to be referencing this list! Love the edible card.

Oh my gosh, that edible card is so cute! We got Rosie some new squeaky balls, a stuffed goose and an antler chew for Christmas this year! She loves opening presents!

    • December 19, 2015 / 10:25 PM

It sounds like Rosie’s going to have a great Christmas morning! Sheba loves opening (and sniffing) presents too!

I wanted to get that reindeer for Riley for Christmas, but they were sold out! AGH! But the edible card!?! how adorable is that?! That may be what she gets instead! hahaha

    • December 19, 2015 / 10:19 PM

Oh no! Check the other seller options, there might be a few left under Prime on there? If not, the edible card is fun too! I’m sure Riley will love anything you give her!

Thanks, Kenzie! I bet your pup will be super excited Christmas morning!

The edible card!!!!! Oh my gosh so cute! I love getting my dog Christmas Presents. SO fun!

    • December 19, 2015 / 10:14 PM

Me too! She pretty much gets presents year-round, but it’s especially fun to buy them at Christmas :)

Such cute ideas! I totally spoiled my pup this year! She’ll be getting lots of treats and toys, plus she was in need of a new collar and leash, so that’s all wrapped up under the tree as well. I usually get her a Barkbox for Christmas, but skipped it this year since I found some goodies for her already!

    • December 19, 2015 / 10:15 PM

Sounds like your pup’s going to have a fabulous Christmas! I usually hold off on putting the wrapped treats under the tree until the night before/morning of. Otherwise I’m sure she’d sniff them out and open them early!

Haha I’ve been lucky this year, but have had that problem for other Christmases!
