Well, hello, Friday! Another week down, and this one felt like a fast-forward button was being pushed on all week. I guess that’s just how super-busy weeks go! My big focus through this weekend is my marketing class, that has just over 2 weeks left to go! Not only do I have an insane amount of reading to catch up on (e-textbooks are THE WORST), but I also have a 2-part midterm to take, and a huge group project to work on. Needless to say, I think Monday’s going to roll around pretty quickly! I’m already looking forward to my “break time,” which will be celebrating my dad’s birthday and a belated Christmas with my grandparents! And of course, the return of The Walking Dead on Sunday!
So what’s on my radar this week? Lots of pop culture things!
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (Parts 1 & 2)
Earlier this week, a new Harry Potter book was announced, and myself and the rest of the HP fandom freaked out big time! Unfortunately, it’s not going to be an actual novel like the rest of the series, but instead, is the script of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, J.K. Rowling’s broadway that opens in London this year. The script/book will be released on our boy Harry’s birthday (July 31), but it’s already available for preorder (which obviously I already signed up for)! Will you be reading it?
After This We’re Getting Pizza Workout Bag
This workout bag ($28) is so unbelievably perfect and sums up what I think a lot of us feel about things that need to happen post-workout. Despite it totally contradicting all the hard exercise you did/are going to do, I love this!
First 4 Minutes of The Walking Dead Mid-Season Premiere
My favorite show is back on Sunday night (Valentine’s Day date with the zombies, anyone?!) and it looks like no time will be wasted jumping back into things. It picks up with Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham’s run-in with Negan’s (the new villain we’ve yet to meet) group, and of course, cuts off just when things start to get pretty intense. Eek! Are you a fan of TWD? Will you be watching?
What do you have planned for the weekend?
