A couple days of radio silence over here, sorry guys! It’s been one heck of a week. I procrastinated a little more than I should’ve on an assignment I needed to do, so I’ve been heads down finishing that up. But the bulk of this tough week happened over the past couple days. Waking up to the news of yet another terrorist attack in Brussels was just heartbreaking. I don’t understand how people can do something so horrific. On top of that, several of my colleagues were laid off yesterday. Fortunately, my job is safe, but it’s still a really tough thing.
So that’s where I’m at. Not too motivated the past couple days with all of the craziness going on around. But I’m happy to say that I have a massage on the books, a trip to Universal’s Mardi Gras planned, and am looking forward to spending some time with my family for Easter this weekend. All good things!
Needless to say, I’m definitely ready for this week to turn around. I’ve teamed up with an awesome group of bloggers to give away a $115 gift card to either PayPal, Target, or Sephora (winner’s choice), and this one is open worldwide! So be sure to enter at the bottom of this post!
- Apple’s latest iPhone software update 9.3 was released earlier this week and I’m really digging the “night shift” feature that reduces blue light emission at night and early in the morning!
- I’ve been absolutely hooked on Hulu’s 11/23/63 show starring James Franco. It’s an 8-episode series (one episode released each week) based on Stephen King’s book. I’m so anxious to see how it ends!
- Last week was spring break at my school, so I had a break from class. Very odd considering most grad school students work full-time. This “spring break” they spoke of? What a tease!
- I recently talked about the new movies coming out that I can’t wait to see. One on the list FINALLY released the trailer! Who else is excited for Bridget Jones’ Baby?!
Giveaway is open internationally for those over 18 years old. Winner gets to choose to receive $115 PayPal cash, a gift card to Sephora, or a gift card to Target.
