Happy Friday! Apologies for the unexpected absence this week – it’s been a busy one! Fortunately my finance midterm is now behind me so I’m free to have a fun weekend that doesn’t involve quality time with a textbook and notes. Woohoo! Ted and I also celebrated our 8-year anniversary this week (CRAZY!), my new iPhone’s arriving at some point today, and I was able to do a little more planning for my mom-daughter Europe trip (less than 3 months to go!), so hooray for lots of good things! How was your week? Any fun plans for the weekend?
Let’s get into this week’s fun findings.
Society 6 iPhone Cases
New iPhone release means time to go shopping for a new case! I purchased the cutest design from Society 6 earlier this week and am anxiously awaiting its arrival (as well as the new iPhone 7)! I couldn’t resist going for this Harry Potter one – Luna’s one of my favorite characters! If you’re in the market for a new case, whether new phone or not, check this site out!
Find Out If You’ve Been Hacked
There have been quite a few hacks into big sites like LinkedIn, Dropbox, and Adobe. While the companies do reach out to users if a breech is detected, it’s also good for us as consumers to keep an eye on our accounts and data. This site is a great resource to check to see if any of your data has been hacked, by simply entering your email address. You can also sign up to receive alerts if any future hacks compromise your data!
Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts
What happens when two late night TV hosts do a segment on a show together? Lots of laughs! Jimmy Kimmel and James Corden sit down with some pretty gross “eats” in front of them and take turns asking each other questions in this clip. If they opt out of answering the question they have to eat something on the plate in front of them. Yikes! So, so funny though!
