4 Must-Read Newsletters for Millennials

Is it just me or does it seem like our inboxes are impossible to keep up with these days?! I’ve been trying to be more mindful of what things I sign up for (e.g. contests, newsletters, sale alerts), and after weeding a lot of emails out, I’ve landed on a few must-have newsletters that I consider essential reads each day/week. Whether you’re looking for news, business info, inspiration, or a light read, I’ve got you covered! Oh, and I did I mention all of these are 100% FREE?!

I’d also like to note that while this blog post (and the newsletters listed) target millennials, you can (and should) subscribe even if you’re not one! Why, you ask? They all keep you informed of what’s going on in the world and keep you educated, business savvy, and often stem some really interesting convos out there in the real world!

Must-read newsletters for millennials

My #1 since signing up in 2014, theSkimm is a newsletter that hits your inbox each weekday morning with highlights of all the news you need to know, but in a light-hearted “fun” way, so it’s like your bestie’s giving you the scoop. They also include awesome giveaways (fingers crossed I’ll win one day) and feature book and/or product recommendations from time to time.

The Morning Brew

If you want to be in the know about happenings in the business world (including tech), Morning Brew is the newsletter for you! This one hits your inbox every weekday and once over the weekend. Morning Brew also shares really unique (and I mean totally out there) interview Qs to help you stay sharp, whether you’re looking to move up in your current company, start somewhere new, or just keep your logic skills 100.

Girls’ Night In

Girls’ Night In is the newest newsletter on my radar, but it’s just as fab! It only hits your inbox once a week (every Friday) and is all about the TREAT YO’SELF mentality. As in, here are some awesome things you should check out (while pampering yourself) on your night in, because let’s face it, by the end of the week, Netflix, PJs + a glass of wine is the way to go! While there are occasionally news mentions, 99% of the content is fun and light-hearted. Plus, they’re big on including recommendations from readers which is awesome. Community is the best!

Ok, so this last one isn’t one that’ll get lost in your email inbox. Instead, it’s a daily text message. Shine is your daily (Monday through Friday) dose of inspiration to help you confidently tackle your goals + thrive. When you first sign up, you can even opt to have your messages personalized based on what  area you want to focus on most in your life, ranging from things like joy and presence to confidence and productivity. I have mine sent to me while I’m getting ready in the morning so I start my day with an extra boost of confidence!

Do you subscribe to any of these or have any other must-reads to add to the list?
