Happy Friday, friends! This week has felt super long and short at the same time – did anyone else feel that way? My to-do list seems to be getting longer with lots of travel coming up over the next few weeks and Christmas shopping that I still need to get moving on. Not to mention all of the things at home I feel like I need to do – cleaning, organizing, and of course, decorating for Christmas (totally happening this weekend)!
My mind is completely blown that next week is Thanksgiving already! I feel like a broken record saying this, but time is flying insanely fast! We usually stay home for Thanksgiving but for the first time in 9 years we’re heading up to New Jersey to spend the holiday with extended fam! I’m looking forward to seeing everyone, cold weather, and of course, lots of good eats!
Breakfast at Tiffany’s
If you’re a fan of the classic film, Breakfast at Tiffany’s you’re going to LOVE this find! The flagship store on Fifth Ave in NYC just opened up The Blue Box Cafe on its 4th floor and you can now actually have breakfast at Tiffany’s! This has definitely been a long time coming and I know I can’t wait to make a reservation during my next trip to NYC!
Hanson’s Christmas CD
Now that it’s mid-November, I’m ready to get full swing into Christmas! Anyone else?! Helping me get in the spirit is the new release of Hanson’s second Christmas album, Finally It’s Christmas! Their first one (Snowed In) came out in 1997 and guys, it’s been my go-to for Christmas jams ever since! You better believe I’m going to have this one on repeat now too!
Stranger Things Kids + James Corden Motown Band
The latest skit on James Corden’s late night show features the kids of the Stranger Things cast and is so great! It starts off showing a view of life before the Netflix show, where the boys and James Corden were in a band called The Upside Down and plays out like a mini documentary. But once you get a few minutes in, you’ll see the awesome “reuniting” of the band + a live performance of some of the best Motown songs!
