Treatsie Box: June Review

The Treatsie Box has quickly skyrocketed to the top of my favorite food subscription boxes – and this is only the second one I’ve received. It’s that good. The box costs $15/mo and is well worth the monthly investment (in my opinion). If you’re thinking you don’t want to have extra candy lying around the house, buy a box and keep it at your desk at work. The treats selected are always good for stress!

Askinosie Assorted Dark Chocolates
Not only is chocolate already awesome, but when you know the main cocoa ingredient is coming from places such as Honduras, Tanzania, Philippines and Ecuador, you know it’s gotta be good. Not to mention, each of these Askinosie chocolates ($4) have other tasty ingredients (e.g. honey, fruits) to make these little dark chocolates even tastier.

Liddabit Sweets
There were 3 different treats from Liddabit Sweets included in June’s Treatsie Box. A Barley/Honey Lollipop ($1), a pack of Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels ($1) and a pack of Fig & Ricotta Caramels ($1). Let me just say, that honey lollipop? AMAZING. I’ll definitely be ordering more of those the next time I come down with a sore throat. I also really dig the different flavors of caramels included.. and that there were more than one of each kind!

Southern Pecan Toffee
I’m not sure I’ve ever had toffee before this box, so I was a little skeptical to give it a try (not really knowing what to expect). I don’t know why I ever doubted the curators of Treatsie for a second. The Southern Pecan Toffee ($8) is essentially my new favorite treat. As in, had one bite, then another… and then it was pretty much gone. Seriously cannot stop raving about how delicious this was. My favorite in the box by far!
