Kelly Rowland Fancy Box: November 2013 Review

I’ve been looking forward to receiving the Kelly Rowland Fancy Box since ordering last month! If you’re not familiar with Fancy Boxes, they’re monthly subscription boxes curated by either the Fancy team (original box) or celebs such as Ashton Kutcher, Pink, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Tyler Florence. As the newest addition to the celeb curators, check out the contents of Kelly Rowland’s very first Fancy box below!

Ciate Very Colourfoil Manicure
I love the idea of the Ciate Very Colourfoil Manicure Kit ($25)! This would be really fun for a night out on the town or vacationing. I won’t use this for myself since painting my own nails always turns out pretty disastrously, but I do have a few people in mind that I could gift this to!

Diana Baby 110 Camera
The Diana Baby Camera ($59) was a cool surprise to find in my Fancy box! It’s kind of like the “original Instagram” (as Kelly phrased it in the info card), and is small enough to fit in even the smallest of clutches. I’m bummed there wasn’t any film included (apparently they stopped making this type of a film a few years ago so it’s difficult to find) but there was a note from Kelly saying “stay tuned” and that she might help out with that. Not sure if that means it’ll come in a future box or a package down the road but I’m hoping for the latter!

Paris Skyline Tights
It’s not often that I wear tights thanks (or not) to Florida weather. These Paris Skyline Tights ($15) aren’t quite my style, but I can definitely see why Kelly picked it out. It’s very Destiny’s Child.

Japonesque Precision Eyelash Curler
I’m not one to curl my eyelashes. Something about that contraption (or anything really) so close to my eyes weirds me out. But the Japonesque Precision Eyelash Curler ($14) seems to be a great addition to a gal’s beauty collection. I haven’t decided whether or not I’ll use this yet, but if not, I know just who will be getting this for Christmas!

I had a credit on my account so I only ended up paying $14.95 for Kelly Rowland’s November Fancy box, but typically the box will run you $39 + $7.95 shipping. Not a bad deal at either price considering this month’s box retailed out to $113. Although it wasn’t one of my personal favorite Fancy boxes, there are some great items to gift in here!

Did you receive Kelly’s – or another Fancy box this month? What did you think? If you plan on subscribing or making another purchase from Fancy, be sure to use the code “HOLIDAY” for 20% off your order!
