Essential Apps: December 2013

Felt:
When it comes to greeting cards, I don’t mess around. I can literally spend an hour looking for the perfect card for someone. But sometimes running to the store (and spending the time there) isn’t an option, so I’m really excited about this new app, Felt, that allows you to write your own message in a greeting card via iPad/iPhone and send to someone for $3.99 without going to the store or post office! Additionally, through the end of the year, you’ll receive a stylus pen with your first card purchase (use code “STYL” at checkout). Pretty awesome!

Elf Yourself by OfficeMax:
It’s Christmastime and you know what that means.. Elf Yourself time! This (free) funny app allows you to place headshots of you and your friends/fam on the bodies of elves, resulting in an always awesome, and quite hysterical music video of awkward dancing and festive music. Definitely one to play with and send to everyone in your address book.

Find & Save:

The first thing I do every Sunday when I wake up is check the weekly ads and I’m always on the lookout for a good sale. This app brings all of the ads and sales from the stores in your area into one location, allowing you to search by store, category, brand, etc. If you haven’t finished your Christmas shopping yet, this is one app you should absolutely download – it’ll come in handy!
