Christmas Gift Guide 2013: Top Beauty Picks

It Cosmetics CC+ Cream

On my downtime, one of my favorite activities is to watch makeup tutorials on YouTube. One of my favorite beauty youtubers is “Makeup By Tiffany D”. She recently raved about this product, sold exclusively at Ulta and retails at $38, so I decided to try it for myself. Obsessed isn’t a big enough word for how much I love this product. This CC cream gives a full (yes, FULL!) facial coverage, while nourishing your skin with anti-aging cream and SPF 50. It makes your skin silky soft without causing oil, and covers blemishes without needing foundation on top. Perfection!

Naked Palattes

The Naked palattes by Urban Decay are by far my favorite eye shadows that I’ve ever used. I’m addicted and on most days exclusively stick to these palattes. They are the most vibrant shades that last all day without running or clumping. There are now 3 different palattes, each retailing for $52, which I highly recommend  for everyone. And with 3 different palattes to choose from, there is definitely a shade for everyone and every different skin tone. Also, the palattes come with an incredible shadow primer that is a MUST for your eyes!

Urban Decay Ocho Loco 2

I am an eyeliner whore (excuse my language) and proud! I have tried every brand in every color, looking for the one that accentuates my eyes the most! As Urban Decay is one of my favorite brands, I decided to try out their eyeliner brand recently and quickly wondered why I hadn’t earlier! Their eye pencil gives off a smooth appearance, almost like a liquid (minus the mess!) and they offer a variety of shades for each eye color! This year, Sephora is offering a combo pack called “Ocho Loco 2”, which retails at $59. Not bad for all the colors you get. This is definitely on my Christmas list!

Make Up For Ever HD Complexion Starter Kit

My heaven. My savior. My world. I could not live without my Make Up For Ever HD Foundation. Like literally. And Sephora is offering a “starter kit” for those who are late to the Make Up For Ever party! This kit offers their Microperfecting primer, Invisible Cover foundation, Microfinish powder and a kabuki brush (which everyone should own at least one!). This kit retails at $79.00, which is an excellent price for this whole set. Definitely a must for every beauty girl!

Glo Brilliant Personal Teeth Whitening Device

I have been eying this product for YEARS. I still haven’t been able to get my hands on one but I’ve heard nothing but wonderful reviews. This teeth whitening device is sold at Sephora for $199. The product guarantees at least 8 shade changes in your teeth when used regularly. All you have to do is apply the teeth whitening gel and use the blue laser mouthguard and watch your teeth whiten at a rapid pace!

DRYBAR Blowout in a Box

DRYBAR products and blow dryer are used at high-end salons all over the world! Now, exclusively at Sephora, you can get an amazing, Los Angeles-inspired, blowout in a box at the courtesy of your home. For $199, you get the DRYBAR blow dryer, round brush, shampoo, conditioner, heat protective spray and a serum. You can’t beat that! I’ve been dying for this blow dryer for months… Santa are you listening?
Tria Hair Removal Laser

This gift is for someone who is willing to spend quite a bit of dough! Tria is the very first FDA-approved at-home laser hair removal device. This item retails at $449.00, but worth every penny in my book! You can get permanent hair removal at-home without the embarrassment of going to a salon to have it done. HALLELUJAH! And did I mention you won’t have the hole in your pocket from the multiple treatments you’d need in a salon? Okay Santa… Are you REALLY listening?!

I REALLY want the Tria and the Make UP For Ever set! I have the 1st and 2nd Naked Palettes and LOVE them. I am going to wait a little while for the 3rd. UD also has the best eyeliner.

I use Smashbox BB Cream and have really loved it, but I think I am going to try that CC cream. All the CC's I have tried so far make my skin oily because of the moisturizer. This one sounds great!
