Cause of the Month: Love Without Boundaries

I can’t believe it’s already time for another cause of the month post – time just keeps on flying by! If you’re curious about the causes I’ve spotlighted in the past (because there are quite a few now), click here.

This month, I’m supporting Love Without Boundaries (LWB)an organization founded in 2003 to provide surgeries and baby formula to children in need. The focus of LWB is on orphaned children in China, as there are over 1 MILLION in need (which the founders discovered as they were in China to adopt a sick child). According to the LWB website, only 2% of these children will actually be placed in a long-term home, which is so sad. Although the organization can’t physically adopt every orphaned, impoverished child throughout the region, they do strive to help the children reach their full potential through a variety of programs, including education, foster care, nutrition, and medical care.

I love that this group of people came together to fight for the future of children on the other side of the world. The name really does fit well!

Since my philosophy is that you can never have enough t-shirts (or at least that’s what my drawers would say if they could talk), I purchased this adorable shirt ($24) from Sevenly to support LWB, with one of my favorite sayings, “Carpe Diem. Seize the Day.” I can’t wait to wear it!

There are numerous ways you can get involved with LWB, ranging from making a monetary donation to spreading the word on your social media account(s) to promote the organization. For a full list of ways to help, visit Love Without Boundaries’ “get involved” page.
