Quarter of a Century

Today marks a big milestone in my life. It’s my 25th birthday. I’m a quarter of a century old. WHOA. I know in the grand scheme of life, it’s still “young.” But I clearly remember a time when I thought 25 was old. And being closer to 30 than a teenager? Yikes! Where did the time go?!

To celebrate my birthday, I’m SO excited to be spending a few days exploring DC with Ted! Neither of us have been since we were kids, and don’t remember much of it, so we have a jam-packed schedule to see/do as much as we can in our nation’s capital.

Also, an update on that DSLR camera I was wanting? I ended up buying it a few days ago as an early birthday present to myself. Woo! Can’t wait to share all about the trip (plus some photos with my new camera!!!) over the next couple weeks!

I’ll leave you with a throwback jam, Lesley Gore’s “It’s My Party.” For as long as I can remember, it’s been a birthday tradition to sing it. See you back here on Monday!

What are your birthday traditions?
