Dealing with the Stress of Midterms Week

I posted a few weeks ago that after some back and forth, I decided to sign up for a few grad school classes, and the application, registration and start of classes was all a whirlwind!

So here we are in week 4 and I have THREE midterms this week. Already! On top of that, I have an insane amount of homework for one of them (stats, ugh)! Needless to say, this is a multi-cup of coffee every day kind of week. If I could get an IV of caffeine going, I’d gladly take it! Sheba has the impression of me spot on. One eye open, one eye closed. Must. Stay. Awake.

That said, a little stress snacking may or may not be happening, since I decided to take a break and bake some sugar cookies in the middle of studying. But don’t worry, Sheba’s in on the treat-break action too. In fact, she’s the one that keeps reminding me, “hey mom, it’s time for a break!”

So while Sheba chows down on these chicken and peanut butter-flavored Dogswell Vitality treats (she’s obsessed!), I sneak a couple cookies and watch a few minutes of TV (the Six Feet Under marathon continues) on my much-needed study breaks! Just a few more days to get through until the midterm craziness is done!

What do you do on your productivity breaks? Are you in midterm-season too?

I received the Dogswell treats for review purposes. All opinions are my own.

Oof midterms are one of the biggest things I don’t miss about school. And if I’m being honest – one of the reasons why I haven’t fully committed to going to grad school yet.

That’s what was holding me back too but I decided to go for it.. and now I’m back to wondering why I decided to do this lol. Can’t wait for it to be over!!

Oh my gosh, exams are also what I miss the least about school. I still get those nightmares that I missed a big test though, haha! Sheba is way too cute, and those treats sound right up Rigby’s alley. (He loves PB!)

Ugh, what a terrible nightmare! They’re definitely the worst. Waiting to reach the light at the end of the tunnel this week! And I think Rigby would love them!!

Whenever midterms were around it’s amazing how clean my house would be and all the baking I would do. Sometimes I wish I could just be a dog for the day and not have to worry about studying haha. Good luck with your midterms!

Lol definitely a similar pattern of behavior around here :) If only I could trade places with Sheba for the week!

Your brain is the hammer and the mid terms are the nail. You will crush those tests, Man! Just bring the pain!

Lol, thanks. I certainly hope so! I wish I could trade places with Sheba this week!

I am having horrible exam flashbacks! You will do great, though! Good luck to you, lady!
