It’s Stitch Fix time, hooray! With lots of travels coming up (and my favorite clothing seasons upon us), I was looking forward to seeing what Stitch Fix would send my way. After all, it was this time last year that I received my very first Stitch Fix and loved (and kept) everything in my box!
The past couple months my original stylist (Emily) has been MIA and I was starting to think maybe she was no longer with the company. But to my surprise, she’s back as my stylist as of this month. Yay! I had pinned a few specific SF things that I liked and also requested some fall pieces for the northeast. Here’s what I received.
41Hawthorn Dita Sleeveless Ponte Dress ($68)
Although I received this dress in a different color in a previous fix, I had pinned a solid color of the dress, in hopes of getting it to wear to the wedding I attended in August. Unfortunately it didn’t come until this fix though. While I do like it, I wasn’t crazy about it this time around, or the fact that I’d be spending so much on the exact same dress I already have (just a different color). Verdict: Returned
THML Jaylie Cowl Neck Colorblocked Poncho ($88)
While I like the idea of this poncho, I felt insanely buried in it. It would work if I was just lounging on the couch at home and wanted to cuddle myself up in a blanket, but as a top, just no. I didn’t take a photo with my arms slightly lifted, so it doesn’t look too bad here, but it was just a definite no! Verdict: Returned
Liverpool Anita Skinny Pant ($78)
Have you ever found the most perfect pair of pants and never wanted to take them off? These are SO them for me. This skinny pant can be dressed up or down, and is stretchy, soft, and comfortable. All pants should be like this! Verdict: Kept
41Hawthorn Garzota Crew Neck Blouse ($54)
This blouse was the most frustrating piece of clothing I think I’ve ever tried on. While it looks just ok on, the blouse material is thin, so there’s a need to wear a cami underneath. Fortunately one comes with it, but unfortunately, it’s connected, so it’s one big tangled mess trying to put it on. Plus, the fit was a little off on me. Verdict: Returned
Pixley Analisse Anorak Jacket ($88)
Anorak jackets are a pretty hot commodity right now, and I was dying to get one for myself after seeing an adorable styling Stitch Fix had done on Pinterest. I didn’t have a specific color I was looking for but the army green seems to be the popular/standard color for it. Let me tell you, I’m OBSESSED with this jacket! It’s lined with the softest and coziest material you can imagine. Can’t wait to wear this! Verdict: Kept
Overall, I’m satisfied with this month’s fix. While I didn’t like every piece I received, I did receive 2 that I love and will definitely get some good use out of! I’m already looking forward to my next box from Stitch Fix. Fall and winter clothes are the best!
