I’ve mentioned before that I’m trying to get better about cooking more, and getting use out of my crockpot (because it really is insanely easy to use)! Since I’ve been so busy with school things lately I haven’t been able to do too much experienting, but I finally found some time and decided to attempt Crockpot BBQ Chicken. I can’t even begin to tell you how good it was! And very easy to make! Are you a BBQ fan? You might want to give this one a try!
What You’ll Need (Ingredients)
2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup BBQ sauce
1/4 cup Zesty Italian dressing
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Place chicken into crockpot by itself.
In a separate bowl, mix in BBQ sauce, Italian dressing, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until well combined.
Pour the mixture over the chicken, cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours.
Once time is up, you can serve as is, or shred (using 2 forks). If shredding, re-cover and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes to soak up all the flavor.
I opted to shred the chicken and it was much easier than I expected (it was a first time for me)!
That’s it! Pretty simple, and oh so delicious!Have you made BBQ chicken before?
