I’ve mentioned before that I’m trying to get better about cooking more, and getting use out of my crockpot (because it really is insanely easy to use)! Since I’ve been so busy with school things lately I haven’t been able to do too much experienting, but I finally found some time and decided to attempt Crockpot BBQ Chicken. I can’t even begin to tell you how good it was! And very easy to make! Are you a BBQ fan? You might want to give this one a try!

Need an easy, delicious dinner recipe? Whip up this tasty crockpot BBQ chicken dish!

What You’ll Need (Ingredients)

2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup  BBQ sauce
1/4 cup Zesty Italian dressing
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Place chicken into crockpot by itself.

In a separate bowl, mix in BBQ sauce, Italian dressing, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until well combined.

Pour the mixture over the chicken, cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours.

Once time is up, you can serve as is, or shred (using 2 forks). If shredding, re-cover and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes to soak up all the flavor.

I opted to shred the chicken and it was much easier than I expected (it was a first time for me)!

Is it wrong that I have the urge to add some finely chopped jalapeños to this at the end? Because everything is better with jalapeños. And tortillas, and some nice queso cheese as a quick burrito or taco to eat on the go… yum.

Not at all! Although I can’t do anything spicy (even mild can be hot for me lol). Queso though?! YUMMM!

Yum! I always make pulled pork in the crock pot but I think that this would be healthier!

I haven’t tried pulled pork in the crockpot yet but that sounds good too! I’ve been trying to use mine more, so I might have to give that a try soon!
