Mornings with Melitta Coffee + Giveaway

Coffee is a huge part of my daily routine. In fact, it’s the first thing I reach for (or walk to zombie-style) after getting out of bed every morning.

I recently found out that one of the biggest names in the coffee industry, Melitta, is headquartered in Clearwater, not far from me at all! The company was founded over 100 years ago in Germany, and is one of the innovators in the business. Melitta distributes a variety of coffee products, including coffee, coffee filters, pour-over coffee makers, single-cup coffee, and many other essentials for coffee lovers.

The company sent over 5 of their best-selling items for me to try out, along with a set of the products for one of you to indulge in! Enter below for your chance to win.

While I love my Keurig (and yes, Melitta offers k-cups), I’m fascinated by the company’s pour-over method, another quick and easy way to make coffee without a huge mess to clean up. How does it work? Simply place a brewing cone on top of your mug, insert a paper filter into the cone, pour your coffee onto the filter, and then pour hot water over the coffee, allowing the coffee to filter through into your mug. That’s it!

It’s nice to have options when it comes to coffee in the morning. If you run out of k-cups, it’s nice to know you can still brew a quick cup of coffee via the pour-over method using the coffee grounds, or vice versa. Even better, Melitta’s products aren’t crazy expensive like many of the coffee products on the market can be.

Intrigued? Here’s your chance to win your own Melitta prize pack, filled with classic blend coffee, a box of k-cups, regular and bamboo coffee filters, and the pour-over cone!

This giveaway is open to U.S. residents only. Winner will be selected randomly and must respond within 48 hours of being notified to claim prize.

OK, the pour over cone is seriously cool. I drink my coffee black most of the time, though I do love flavored coffees.

    • It’s very cool! I can’t handle drinking coffee black, always need to add a little something! Kudos to you for being able to brave it lol.

I use my Keurig and almost always have Starbucks medium/house blend with vanilla creamer!

    • That sounds delicious (and pretty much the same way I drink mine)!

  • how interesting! i am not a coffee drinker, but i do love a nice hot cup of tea ;)

    • Tea is great too! Give me all the caffeine lol. What kind of tea is your fave?

  • I have a kuerig, so I make that each morning with soy creamer. But my dad WILL NOT drink anything but melitta, with their filters, with the cone! (They have a nice white ceramic cone though, #fancy) I use it when I sit their dogs, it’s amazing.

    • Ooh I haven’t tried soy creamer. What brand do you normally get? I’ll have to try it! Too funny about your dad. The pour over method is supposed to be a bit more gourmet-y, so your dad must be a coffee expert!

      • The Organic Valley one at Whole Foods! So, so delicious. I highly recommend it!

  • I don’t drink coffee, but I am a big fan of hot cocoa and I love your Eeyore mug!!

    • Ooh I love hot cocoa too! It’s getting to be that time of year again where it’s a staple!

  • I love coffee! I’m sitting here thinking how I really need another cup right now. We have a Melitta warehouse not far from us and my mom always takes advantage of the warehouse sale! Love this giveaway!

    • Haha there’s no such thing as too much coffee ;) So awesome that you live nearby the warehouse. Discounts are the best!

  • I drink coffee every morning and I love the pods because it totally regulates your consumption.

    • Agreed! Plus, the clean-up is way easier than with a whole big pot of coffee!

  • I first discovered these when I lived in Germany in the 1980’s. Wonderful coffee. I don’t wake up properly in the mornings until 2 cups of coffee x
